About Me

I am thrilled to be part of the Fairmont Vikings community! This is my fifth year in education and my first year at Fairmont Junior High School. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and I am certified to teach Special Education for grades Pre-K through 12, all subject areas for grades Pre-K through 6, and Science for grades 4 through 8. I am also certified to support English Language Learners.

What I enjoy most about teaching is witnessing my students grow both academically and emotionally. It is incredibly rewarding to know I play a role in their development and success. For me, teaching extends far beyond classroom instruction—it's about fostering meaningful relationships and creating a supportive environment where students feel valued, inspired, and excited to learn each day.
