Get to Know Ms. Woodruff

Welcome! I am looking forward to a wonderful year of 6th Grade Science. This is my 6th year of teaching and 3rd year in the area of 6th grade Science. I am new to DPISD, but a native of Baytown, Texas. I went to college in Fresno, California where I played Water Polo Collegiately at Fresno Pacific University. I taught in California for 3 years before returning home where I taught in Goose Creek for 2, before deciding to put roots down in DPISD. I have taught all Sciences from 6th-10th Grade along with extensive coaching background in Aquatics. I will be coaching Girls Swim here at FJH. I am here to help with all of your child's needs. I look forward to a great year and working with all of you to ensure every Childs' success!
