Biography

Welcome to Fairmont Junior High…It is my pleasure serving this school as your campus principal. To give you a little bit about my background, I started teaching in 1999. I am graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, my family alma mater. I spent eleven years as an elementary teacher where I can proudly say I earned my National Board for Teaching Certification. I spent six years as an instructional science coach where I earned my masters degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I spent seven years as campus assistant principal at both elementary and junior high before becoming the principal of the BEST junior high school in our area and definitely one of the top in Texas. I consider myself the luckiest educator because of what I get to do every single day...serve you and this community. Let's go Vikings!
