ABOUT ME!
HELLO VIKINGS!
I am so excited to be joining the FJH team! While I may be new to this school, I am not new to DPISD. I have taught ELA for the past 21 years at Deer Park Elementary...the same elementary I attended as a child. I graduated from DPHS...in fact my husband and two daughters did as well, and my son is in high school at DPHS. I like to say that our family bleeds maroon and gold! And I can’t forget to mention our precious pocket golden doodle, Penelope! :)
My husband, John, and I have been married for 25 years and are proud of our three children...Andress and her husband Joseph (both Texas A&M graduates), Zoe a recent graduate of UHCL, and Jacob, our DPHS golfer!
I feel blessed to continue sharing my passion for reading, writing, and building relationships with FJH VIKINGS!
