Paige Project
This year, The Paige Project is benefitting two DPISD students: Bella and Luke. We have several events planned throughout the rest of the school year through which you can help us support these two amazing students.
Bella is a sixth-grader at Deer Park Junior High, and she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in the fall. Her treatment is estimated to take eight months to a year and consists of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Isabella is a ray of sunshine and a social butterfly. She loves to cheer and dance.
Luke is a second-grader at Fairmont Elementary, and he is suffering from a rare genetic disorder that affects the nervous system called X-Linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). His treatment has included chemotherapy and a marrow transplant to stop the progression of the disease. He is vibrant, loving, and dreams of a bright future with endless possibilities.
